Moxham House/Care Home Support Worker

We have a full time vacancy for carer/support worker, who is sympathetic to and appreciative of our Christian ethos and values, to join our skilled team who provide an excellent standard of care for adults with mental health problems in Moxham House, our 24-hour supported residential care home.


In this role you will be working with vulnerable adults, encouraging them towards independence and to participate as fully as possible in community life; contributing to their physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs. Full training will be given.


Good communication skills (verbal and written English), practise in advocacy, administrative skills and computer literacy are essential requirements. A full manual driving licence is essential, plus the ability to work as part of a team and also alone/unsupervised. Shifts include a variety of day/evening/weekend/on-call duties.


Gross pay (including allowances) in the range of £20,000 - £21,000

Generous holidays and pension schemes are available.
