Moxham House

The Moxham House team comprises 21 full-time and part-time support workers. These are highly experienced and highly trained (at least to QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care).

They work closely with residents, their families and professionals to ensure that the residents' needs are met and that the resident is supported in fulfilling his or her potential as much as possible.

They also ensure that when the time comes for residents to move, either to Culverdale or Bethel Court, or out into the wider community, they are fully supported in this too.

The team is led by registered manager Penny Rist, her deputy manager, Moeena Winsor and our clinical lead is Penny Jones, a registered mental health nurse.

We have a policy of never using agency staff. This is because we believe that using our own staff provides a high degree of continuity. Staff are much more aware of residents' individual needs and we regularly share information amongst ourselves, via care plan meetings and handovers. Moxham House staff all have Christian values, too, and believe very strongly in the concept of building a thriving and supportive community here at Crossways.
